Welsh Fairy Cards, more than 40 designs, by Trudy Finch, Welsh artist and designer, who even makes the paper she uses
for them. Designs include: Blue Iris Fairy, Bug Watching, Butterfly Fairy, Chocolate Fairy, Cobweb, Equestrian Fairy,
Fairy Bride Fairy Godmother, Flute Fairy, Gift Fairy, Puck, Shell Fairies, Smallest Fairy, Snow Crystal, Spell Fairy,
Star Fairy, Storm Fairy, Travelling Fairy and Wish Fairy. A particular treat for children, but we suspect the parents
just claim they are for the kids. We don't know why she adds the envelopes, everyone we know just frames them.
single 5" x 7"card with envelope. $4.50 each

Welsh Love Spoons (large image) of several shapes and sizes, once hand-carved of local hardwoods by men who were long
away from their sweethearts. The size and intricacy of design were signs of how much the men "pined" for their fair ladies.
A lovely old tradition of courtship and romance. Often given today for good luck to newlyweds. Prices vary. Enquire.

Welsh Window Stickers by the maker of the Celtic Greeting Cards. Twenty or so designs available, we chose six
of our favourites: Ceilidh/The Dance, Celtic Cross Keltic Dragons, Lleu/Sun, Tree of Life, and Triskele.
Can be used inside or out - they are two sided and look the same either way. 4-1/4" circles. $4.00 each

Welsh Tartans:

When I first saw these wonderful patterns in 2002, I was enthralled, and had to have them. In fact, I was the largest importer of the Welsh tartans their first year in North America. Others have surpassed us since then, but not in our admiration and friendship with Tony and Allison Collins, the originators of these lovely patterns. They are two of Wales national treasures.
Along with my Welsh mother...Ruth Evans.

The Welsh are going to the kilt, spelled
Cilt, as the national formal dress. And there are even ysgrepans (Welsh sporrans or cilt wallets), and Welsh Charlie formal jackets for dress occasions. We are authorised to procure any and all of these special items for our clientele, and welcome enquiry about them.

For details about cilt or bespoke jacket measurements please see our "Cilt and Measurement Page"

There are many items made in these patterns, and more names being added all the time - recognise yours?
Click on name below to see an example of the tartan. All are made at Cambrian Woollen Mill in Llanwrtyd, Powys, Wales.
